Now is the time to use your library to help with summer reading details. Your library should be the first stop for gathering reading lists and guides. The Alabama Virtual Library offers public library users access to in-depth reading resources. The SIRS Rennaisance database is a great place to start. You will find a guide to the curricular study of prominent authors in major literary periods and regions.! |

You never know who you'll run into at the Orange Beach Library! The computer lab has had a lot of business this week because students are coming in to finish up projects, to write papers or just to study. We also had some celebrities in the library. Playboy cartoonist, Doug Sneyd and his cohort, Heidi, came in to update Doug's blog when they ran into author Theodore Pitsios, who was checking on his web site. Doug and Heidi are great friends of the library and Theodore is a former member of the Orange Beach Library Writer's Group. Watch for news on future book signings with these authors. |
