iPad Ebooks Class
If you have a new iPad, we can help you get started reading free library books on your device.
This class will introduce CamelliaNet, the library's downloadable audio and electronic book catalog. We will practice:
- connecting to wireless networks
- downloading the Overdrive app necessary to read our library books
- selecting and downloading books
- returning and deleting books when finished
Please bring your iPad to class.
This class is free, but registration is required and seating is limited.
Nook E-books Class
If you have a new Nook, we can help you get started reading free library books on your device.
This class will introduce CamelliaNet, the library's downloadable audio and electronic book catalog. We will practice:
- installing software necessary to manage the library's e-books
- authorizing your Nook to accept library books
- selecting and downloading books
- returning and deleting books when finished
Please bring to class: your laptop computer, Nook and the data cables necessary to connect the two.

- Desktop and "C" drive
- Install and Uninstall programs
- Creating desktop shortcuts for favorite programs
- Antivirus and firewalls

Library Book Groups
The library currently hosts two book groups. All meetings are open to newcomers and visitors interested in enjoying good conversation with other readers. Digital Photos Class
Topics covered:
- Downloading pictures from a digital camera to your computer
- Organizing pictures into photo albums
- Emailing pictures as attachments (jpeg, gif, etc.)
- Free software for organizing digital photos: Kodak Photo Gallery and Picasa (Google Photos)
Students are encouraged to bring laptops, digital cameras and cables to connect the two.
Registration is required for this class.
