About Us

Forget to return a book on time? No problem.

The library is conducting a trial Overdue Fine Forgiveness period from April 20th until October 20th, 2013. Fines will still appear on your account until waived at the Orange Beach desk. We can only waive fines for Orange Beach cards.

Technology Help

New (and not so new) technologies can be great tools or a huge source of frustration. We want to make sure you have the information you need to begin enjoying the possibilities of your new electronic world.
The library offers help in the form of :
    * Technology Classes - 1 hour group classes held in the Meeting Room
    * Book-a-Librarian - 30 minute individual appointments to answer specific questions

Technology Classes

Our Technology classes are designed for beginning to intermediate computer users. Because these classes are held in our Meeting Room (not the computer lab), you are encouraged to bring your own laptop if you would like to practice during class.

No registration is necessary for fall classes, but winter classes (January, February & March) require registration.

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Orange Beach Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization, whose efforts are directed towards promoting increased interest and involvement in the library.

Friends scheduled events are designed to foster public support for the development of services for the library through financial contributions. Donations are made to the library based on the “wish list” of the staff.
