Once again the Orange Beach Public Library welcomes back renowned classical guitarist Peter Fletcher from his home in New York City.

This concert is part of a nationwide tour, under the auspices of Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists,
which will culminate with a highly regarded appearance in New York at Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie
Hall, on April 6, 2013.

Major works will include the Bach Chaconne, and Suite Compostelana by the Catalan composer Federico
Mompou. 2013 is the 115th anniversary of Mompou’s birth. Fletcher recorded a highly acclaimed CD of
his music on Centaur Records (CRC 2588, 2002).

Fletcher will also perform music from Michael Praetorius’s Terpsichore; Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring
by Bach; Villanesca by Spanish composer Enrique Granados; two pieces from Mother Goose Suite by
Maurice Ravel; Leyenda by Isaac Albéniz and Cavatina from the movie The Deer Hunter by Stanley
Myers.

The final work on the program is Fletcher’s transcription of Paganini’s dazzling Caprice no. 24.
