Are you constantly being asked to share recipes when you bring dishes & deserts to potlucks?
Have you run out of photocopies of your favorite cake recipe?
Would you like to give handmade cookies as gifts this season but daunted by the thoughts of handwriting dozens of recipe cards?
In honor of the impending holiday season, attendees to this session are encouraged to bring cookies or a desert to share and the recipe used to create the confection.
We will talk about options for digitizing old recipes and their implications for sharing. We will also share tips & tricks to use for your most-requested recipes and demonstrate several templates for recipe cards.
Attendees will leave the class with digital and decorative cardstock copies of all of the recipes shared during the session.
This independent, 1-hour session is part of the library's free weekly technology workshop series designed for beginning to intermediate-level Apple computer users. You may attend all sessions or just those most interesting to you.
These workshops are open to all library users, and registration is not required during the fall session. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their Mac laptops to the workshop to allow individual practice during the session.
