Computer Classes for Winter at OBPL are in full swing! This January we will be conducting classes on iPad, Facebook, Internet Security and more. February will offer reviews of these courses along with new classes in Gmail and Google Plus. March will also include classes for Kindle and the professional network LinkedIn, by popular demand. The library now offers all Orange Beach Library cardholders free access to AtoZdatabases, a business and marketing leads database with strong job and people search components.
AtoZdatabases includes 30 million business profiles & 220 million residents and is ideal for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, employment opportunities, finding friends and relatives, and much more. Search by multiple limits including geography, business size & type, length of home ownership, and household income.
The library is conducting a trial Overdue Fine Forgiveness period from April 20th until October 20th, 2013. Fines will still appear on your account until waived at the Orange Beach desk. We can only waive fines for Orange Beach cards.

Fantastic Fiction - This site, based in the United Kingdom, lists bibliographies for more than 30,000 authors. It's great for finding book placement in a series and associating authors with all of their pseudonyms. The site can be browsed or searched by author or title.
